What width are 2017 Turbo S rear wheels
Gents
I am speccing up a new S and am thinking of wheel options for the future and got a bit confused as to the correct width of the factory S rear wheel.
The '15/'16 Turbos S definitely had 11.5" rears and according to people on here (see post below) the latest '17 model has the same width.
The UK Configurator begs to differ see below (claims they are 12") - I suspect you guys are right, can anyone confirm the correct width of these ?
Edit - Just read 12" somewhere else !

Thanks for the help
I just checked and the US Porsche configurator also list them as 12 - seems a fairly severe typo to make as they list the offset also as ET63 so it seems to be referring to a specific wheel ?
I just found in the press release, it says 11.5"....... bloody configurator wasting my time

Hey Toby, good to see you here
9Jx20 ET51 / 11.5Jx20 ET56
I know that all the way to ET 47 Fr and 12" ET 44 Rr works great.
The potential on these PDK Turbos is out of this world, you will never get bored

I'm getting on a bit now and decided to try a more easy ride, the 0-100mph acceleration looks quite interesting as well.
You have excellent info as usual..... the 12 ET44 is right where the BBS Fi Rs are at and it is those wheels I was looking at, with the size and offset which Porsche quote in the configurator they don't fit but with the correct info via RL all is good !

BBS FI should fit. I think it might be one of the few that comes close. It's very hard to find non-custom wheels that will work on the TT/TTS.
I went with HREs. Got the wheels/tires. Now waiting on the car!

RK, those look great, what widths are they ? Are you using standard tyre sizes ?
The BBS FiR are 12" rears so I guess that means 325/30 rears, I'm not sure that I want to mess with the setup which Porsche have perfected particularly the way the thing launches which is surely going to be altered with more rear grip ?
The car below is wearing the FiRs, it also has a completely different engine set up (1000hp I think) !

Thanks! I'm stoked.
They are 20 inch wheels; 11.5 in the rear (9 in front); 305 cross section Michelin 4S.
I also had some reservations about getting too outside OEM spec given the RWS, massive power and expense of the car itself. But that's a conservative approach.

Emre's 991s are doing 100-200kph in 3 secs on the road and 300kph in half a mile!
Check out your signature.. been here 16 years So I now drive my manual cars 1/10th of the time only. Loving the performance and comfort of the new gen on track and as a DD.

Just picked up car this evening. Very pleased I went with 21" wheels and GMG springs (~1/2" lowered). Rears are 21" x 12". Wheel is 325. They look great and the ride is surprisingly spectacular. I was expecting a very tough ride, but feels more like stock.
