Those photos posted in the 992 thread on the non-turbo forum along with my response: I'm pretty sure it's a 991.2 body. Rear end is not at all like the 992.

LOL, hell no! Matter of fact mine's now at V331 of the tracking schedule.. just built and sitting in Emden waiting for a boat ride!
IMO those who sit on the sideline waiting for the latest and greatest.. play a mugs game.

I had a bit of a buyer's remorse for a minute - I ordered my TTS for full price, because I wanted it last moment with Euro Delivery, so had not much standing to bargain (and they are actually hard to get in BC due to many international buyers), and I put some options on it because I wanted them. And then just days after that, a friend shows me a pristine 650S Spider for practically the same money. And then news of GT2 and this new generation.
But then I thought - I need a 4 seat daily driver now. None of these things are that. I can get used 991.1 for not much cheaper than a new 991.2 (strange market in Canada), so I'd much rather get a new 991.2 the way I wanted it and top it off with a European delivery.
An interesting takeaway from the speculation article posted is that this gen Turbo S may be the last non-hybrid Turbo S in 911 family. Makes it a tiny bit more special :-).

I'm still getting mine on June 29th in Leipzig. Can't wait.

Allocations are scarce on the east side of Canada also. It took my dealer a couple weeks to secure one for me last October.
I considered ED, but that late in the year it pretty much pooched the short Canuck Cabriolet season. I'm still considering an ED-Lite (Porsche and MB factory tours and rent a Porsche for a bit of a European road tour).

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if the 991.2 turbo was the last non-hybrid.
I like the the idea of full electric but for some reason hybrid super car doesn't sound as exciting to me. Perhaps if I drive one my mind would change.

I am sure my car will be on the same boat as yours.
