Daily driving, stick to the stock Pirelli's...track use, Michelin Cup 2's...1/2 mile events, Toyo R888's.

Regards,

Manuel

Since I'm getting new wheels, I decided to go ahead and put them on Pilot Sport 4S tires. They will be released next month.

I'd vote for the Pilot Sport 4S as well. Supposed to be far superior in grip and road noise then the P0's.

I don't track my car. I put 4 new Bridgestone S04's on for the price of two Pirelli's. Like the Bridgestones better than Pirellis. Michelin's are great, but expensive.

Just bought the Pilot Sport 4s should be here in mid March. The P0's lasted 14k miles. The Michelin should be better grip, but I like the less road noise in the Michelins.

Sport cup two if you track at all. Even if you don't, they're pretty amazing.

Where did you order them from, Tire Rack? Please let us know when you get them installed and have a chance to evaluate them.

My E63 S AMG needs new tires, so I ordered the new Pilot Sport 4S also.

Yup got them from Tire Rack. Just got email from them yesterday, the set should be shipped on Mar 24. When the sand and snow finally disappear from the NE I should be able to get my car to the dealership to change them.

I really looking forward to a quieter tire.

If you DD your car and it sees sub 40 degree weather, don't get the Pilot Sport Cup 2s, or if you do, know that they don't grip very well in such temps.

To me, the tire of choice is the MPSS or the MP4S (when they're available). I replaced my OEM P-Zeros with MPSS last year and found that the MPSS stick better than the original P-Zeros, ride better, are quieter, and are rated for longer wear.

I was planning on the MPSS. Whats the difference between the MPSS and MP4S?

I drive the car a couple of days during the week and spirited canyon on the weekends.

I also have M5 that I alternate with...my big portly bimmer with rockstar motor!!!
