Since I'm getting new wheels, I decided to go ahead and put them on Pilot Sport 4S tires. They will be released next month.

I don't track my car. I put 4 new Bridgestone S04's on for the price of two Pirelli's. Like the Bridgestones better than Pirellis. Michelin's are great, but expensive.

Where did you order them from, Tire Rack? Please let us know when you get them installed and have a chance to evaluate them.

If you DD your car and it sees sub 40 degree weather, don't get the Pilot Sport Cup 2s, or if you do, know that they don't grip very well in such temps.
To me, the tire of choice is the MPSS or the MP4S (when they're available). I replaced my OEM P-Zeros with MPSS last year and found that the MPSS stick better than the original P-Zeros, ride better, are quieter, and are rated for longer wear.

I was planning on the MPSS. Whats the difference between the MPSS and MP4S?
I drive the car a couple of days during the week and spirited canyon on the weekends.
I also have M5 that I alternate with...my big portly bimmer with rockstar motor!!!
