Default Best custom steering wheel

I have a 2014 Turbo S cab, and I am considering getting a customized steering wheel. I would welcome any opinions/advice on which is the best quality/service as well as if it is worth the price. Thank you

I got a custom steering wheel recently. A few points:

1) I don't think anyone can tell you which is best quality/service and if it is worth price because I don't think anyone has bought a wheel from several different sources and compared them. I know how good mine is but I have no idea how it stacks relative to the others.

2) There are 6 suppliers I am aware of or that I considered when getting mine:
- RRS Motorsports (mine)
- MAC Carbon
- Porsche Exclusive (ie the OEM through your dealer)
- DCT Customs
- TechArt
-911ava on eBay

What I can tell you is if you want the actual OEM leather you will need to go for Porsche Exclusive. Everyone else does a close match.

The others have the benefit of other enhancements e.g. Thickness.

MACarbon and TechArt make their wheels in Europe and are the most expensive.

911ava makes the wheel in the US.

RRS and DCT have the work done in Asia at the same shop, but RRS provides better customer service.

I'm very happy with mine for the price I paid. There are photos online.

Perfect. Thank you. Did you remove and re-install yourself? Is it easy?

No I had dealer do it. And even the dealer messed it up breaking a clip and damaging a harness requiring a new clockspring and harness.

It is in principle easy but it requires care.

You can scratch TechArt as an option.
