I have yet to see any aftermarket body parts that fit as they should. I have seen reviews of other TechArt Pieces and none really have anywhere near OEM fitment.

Before you hire a lawyer, maybe you ought to just dispute the charges through your credit card company. I'd guess your card has protections for not getting what you ordered or defective parts, right?

Start there. Make them justify the purchase, but when you dispute it, by letter, write the specific details of the offer (include your web site shots) and what you actually got. It'll be hard from them to say the product isn't defective based on these pictures and if it's not carbon fiber when the claim is fully carbon, you didn't get what was advertised.

Seems easier than going the lawyer route.

I had my installer buy it fit me. I guess I could ask him. Good idea!

Have TechArt front and rear spoilers. They're not CF, but the fit was perfect as well as the workmanship. Sorry to hear about your situation. As others said, start with your cc company.

I just got my shipment of DB Carbon interior parts. They look beautiful. Finish is fantastic. Will start installing this weekend. They are carbon fiber over oem parts clearly explained and common practice. Shame you are dealing with parts that seem inferior.
I also would never buy parts that had to be glued in place.

So what is it going to take to get your car back to normal? The glued on parts had to cause damage when removed, right?

I replied to that above. If you do early enough before its cured its doable. Took over 2 hrs, four of us and a whole lot of elbow grease. Wait till it's fully cured and you're screwed.

I ordered a Techart steering wheel in carbon for my 2006 Cayman S. This is when Techart was through CEC. The CF was a very poorly executed wrap that delaminated in the Florida sun within a month. Just a thin veneer on a $3k steering wheel. They offered to fix it for the shipping charges but it wasn't worth the trouble since it would be the same POS again. I doubt the OP will get very far with this, they may offer to exchange the old junk for new, and litigation is typically more trouble than its worth unless you are talking about amounts >$50-100K.

At this point, it looks like he doesn't even want to hear their name! Exhaust? You mean the "vette"? Needs more exhaust tips though!

This has to filed under "alternative truth" category. Re-read the suppliers description several times and the difference is: Genuine carbon fiber; and Techart genuine carbon fiber. You pay for one but get the other crap. Good luck in resolving.
