Do you know what years got affected? Or just all 991.1 TT/TTS? BTW thx for the update and posting.

The linked thread in the 1st post will give some insight into model years of owner's who responded.

When researching found it's been an ongoing problem to also include 996 - 997 series cars.

Was told the warranty part installed in my car was the 3rd version of same part.

my 15 tts had this issue, i noticed it after the test drive in the dealership parking lot. they replaced/fixed when they were preparing the car for final delivery.
