Glad to hear it! One of the worst things about owning my Vette is not being able to drive it for 4 months of the year. I'm keeping it, but hoping to have a little (careful) winter drive time when the TTS arrives.

Snow tires and ground clearance are all you'll need!

Honestly you could probably say the same for he Vette!

I drove my C5 through 5 Chicago winters with no issues with snow tires on it. (Would have done the same with my C6Z, but couldn't find snow tires in the right sizes.) With judicious use of gas and clutch pedals, I didn't have any problems even in large amounts of fresh snow.

That's not to say that the all wheel drive system in my TTS doesn't make it *way* better in the snow. Truly a year-round all-weather supercar.

I drive my 997 turbo in the winter. With good tires it is practical.

Got my 991.2 TTS Cabrio covered with full body clear bra, and 4 Michelin Artic Alpin P4A winter tires plus Weather tech floormats.
Now I can enjoy it all year long, even through the Canadian winter

Two weeks ago in South East Wisconsin at UW Parkside parking lots.
I've been testing AWD vehicles and 'Snow Flake' tires there for decades.
991.2 C4S/PDK 19" ContiWinterContact.
Traction with and without PSM is just about the same but much easier to spin the car with PSM OFF. Did not think to try the 'Drift Mode'.

Main roads were hard packed snow and 53 mph was very stable.
Testing done on divided highway, with 3 lanes each way, early in the morning with no vehicles around. Worst I could do was spin into a ditch. Traction on a steep hill from a start was no problem.
Very capable AWD but on the whole i prefer my XC70's in the snow!-Richard

After testing, I cleaned out the wheel wells of packed snow, took 20 minutes of work for the large inner wheel barrels.
If not, no doubt I would have had vibration problems after the car sat and the snow compacted.
Next winter will install a garage nat gas heater.-Richard
