I did end up sticking (pun intended) with Xpel. This shop (503 Motoring) has done three cars for me and I have always been pleased with their work and the product. The CeramicPro is very nice, too. The paint feels slicker than whale snot!
I had Highline Customs do the initial Xpel Ultimate wrap, but I have a number of areas that I think could have done better.

I need a new front bumper re-do (dont ask ), and I've contacted 503 about doing it.

We're going to wait until after the Shift Sector on Sept 10-11 at the McMinville Airport, so that I'll start fresh after that.

They are a great bunch of guys and they do top-notch work. This is the third car they've done for me. You won't be disappointed.

I think I will be at Shift Sector as well. I hope to meet you in person.

The installer is as important, if not more important, than product brand.

There's a chap near me who has one of these. Same color too. And he parks it on the street (with a cover)

So, it has been about 8 months since I posted this introduction. I have really enjoyed the comments on this thread as well as the shared information on this forum.

I love every minute of this car and plan to keep it a very long time (or until my son gets his learner's permit!)

I guess I have another confession to make. Remember my comment about a GT3 RS? Well, through a bit of good luck and some good, old-fashioned hard work, I was able to acquire one! It arrived last week, but has been at the shop getting film and coatings. I am bringing it home tonight. Very excited.

Thank you all for joining me in this journey. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Here is a sneak peak at the new rig (and yes, the Turbo S is staying!):

Thanks everyone! Got to put about 50 miles on it today. Wow. It is such a different car than the Turbo S. The Turbo S is effortless, smooth speed. The GT3 RS is much more raw. I love them both, they are just different tools.

I must admit to looking like a baby seal trying to climb in and out of the RS. The carbon buckets have high side bolsters that you have to get over, then drop into. I'll need to work on my entry skills! Or drop a few lbs.

Here is the latest update. I have sold my Turbo S and the GT3 RS and purchased this:

I couldn't be happier. And I'll be keeping the 993.

You've moved from cocaine to heroin. It gets really slippery from here, but what a trip!!
