2015 TTS Purchase
I know I can search endlessly on this board. I read many post of how you are all selling your TTs. So I am a traditionalist looking for a daily for myself. I am looking to replace my 2010 Bentley Supersport with a p-car. See some good deals on the 2015 TTS and I know they are solid and wicked fast. I have no issue moving to the TTS but want the gotchas. I have NEVER owned a non-stick porsche. I am now OK with that for once in my life and have plenty of sticks in my collection.
Tell me why I should not get a good deal on of these. Should I hold out for a deal on a 2016. Educate me a little or tell me to just keep driving the Bentley. My gut is go TTS.
TIA!

You've come to the crack house seeking encouragement to stay clean?
After having my '15TT for just under a year it actually pi$$es me off to have to drive almost anything else. It has ruined me for other cars (except the other Porsches in our garage.)
For 25 years we drove only manual cars. Then, six years ago, I got my current winter DD: an Audi TTS with DSG. DSG is pretty OK. PDK wipes the floor with DSG.

Race Car
Well I wish I could drive mine as a DD.
You will love it. The PDK will have you never, ever, ever wanting or needing a stick again. These cars can be driven everyday and as a DD you will just have a smile on your face.
If I drove mine everyday the only thing I would change is the steering wheel. I have the sport with no buttons on it. I would get the other one that has all the controls as I really like the true hands free steering wheels of my other cars.
Other than that, just go for it.

The .2 wheel with paddles and buttons is the one to have. On the .1 I would not trade the paddles for multi-function buttons. Best is the TechArt conversion of the MF wheel.

What seems to be confirmed on .1s is that if it came with the MF wheel then you can retrofit the SD wheel or do the TechArt paddle addition. If it came with SD then MF is not a practical possibility as there's no wiring in the harness for the MF functions.

I recently picked up a 15 TTS and I am really enjoying it. I have owned alot of turbo Porsche's over the years but this car is really special. The Bentley SS is a great car and I have enjoyed a couple of Bentleys but you will not look back. Proceed and pick car with the right options for you.
