Default Took the plunge

Traded in my 997tt yest for a barely used '14 TTS with 1530 miles on it.

Like others, I am a GT silver guy and I struggled with the decision but, in the end, I'm very happy I chose Agate. Really is an amazing color.

Going from 997tt -> 991 TTS is such a next level upgrade in every single way. Exponential really.

Beautiful! Is the plate light blue or just a trick of the lighting?

It certainly does. I've found the photos, at least the ones I take with my iPhone 6, do not accurately represent the color very well.

If anyone is considering Agate, you really need to see it in person and under a few different light sources to accurately see the large range in hues this color has.

By contrast, my wife's Cayenne GTS is Meteor Grey and, IMHO, it doesn't have any where near the richness that Agate does.

Beautiful, Agate is another under appreciated color for the TT/TTS.

I don't have any pics on me but its black full leather with burmester and carbon. Very understated.

I'd like yellow belts and yellow deviate stitching but oh well. Next time.

To be honest, I haven't missed my 997tt at all, not even for 1 second.

It's odd, I thought would given a) I really loved that car and b) it took me 2 years to find a used one like that which ticked off all the boxes I had.

The 991TTS is really that good.

Just hit 2k miles last night so now the fun really begins!

And it gets better the longer you own it and the more you drive it.

Since stepping out of my 997tt I too have never looked back since, not even for half a second. The TTS is such a better car in every way.
