Default 997.2 PDK v. 991 PDK

For those of you who have owned both a 997.2 TT/TTS and a 991 TT/TTS, I'd love to hear your thoughts on any differences in PDK between the two.

The physical unit itself hasn't changed much, if any. Software is different. Launch control seems to be better on the 991. Shifting speed appears to be the same. I own a 997.2 Turbo S not a 991 but have over an hour seat time in a couple different 991's.

We will find out more when we open it and see inside. That should be why its still running strong.

Longboarder, the latest 991tt ZF box has indeed seen various internal upgrades over the 997tt. It is not just a software update (wishful thinking). The quicker shifts and improved shift menus have also been well documented and reviewed, so I'm not sure why some are even questioning that here?

Read page 6: http://press.porsche.com/vehicles/20..._Coupe_USA.pdf
It references specifics to improved up/down shift times, also internal changes to hardware.
