I was at a Porsche Coffee meet a few weeks ago and parked my 991 next to a 997 TTS. From the rear view there was a night and day difference. The 991 has hips, wide and beautiful. The 997 TTS looks like the 4-S. Independent tests have produced 2.5-2.6 0-60 on the 991 TTS. I never considered the 997 TTS when it came out.

I regularly read this thread (daily) but revert to the GT3 thread because it is so prolific. Wish we had more activity here, ie, share thoughts and experiences. I love my TTS and cannot get enough of it. With 1000 miles on the odometer I am 1/2 way to finally experiencing LC. I want to do a number of them like the guy in that video where he did 60 with consistent 2.6s.

All I know now is that with my Champion GIAC stage 2 tune, 30 mm HR lowering springs, MSC2s, I destroy those 991GT3s at the track. Wish I could have ordered a TTS with out the sun roof and back seat?
The lack of TTS forum activity is directly related to lack of tracking enthusiasm among TTS owners!

Perhaps the GT3 owners are upset their cars can't keep up with us turbo guys, so they feel compelled to post a lot:-)

Not sure why you decide to go this route as both cars are great.....acceleration yes, track times, not always so clear cut!

Route lol? Hell don't take it too seriously... of course they are both great cars.

I will say that GT3, as good as it is as a track car, it will suffer a street cred issue at one point.

Lol I can. After reading some of the threads on other sections, this thread has the capacity to run indefinitely.
