That whopping 0.1 sec improvement on 0-60 time wasn't worth $20k more in cost for the car AND $20k more for brake repair. I know all the snobs out there will look down on me because I only have a TT, but quite frankly I don't give a damn.
I don't look down on you. I did not know about the brake job cost when I bought my 991 TTS. Had I known I would have gone with the TT. I'm thinking about selling it.....

The all wheel drive system is really impressive. Car does great in the rain, and with snow tires mounted it is incredible in the snow.

Carbon ceramic brakes have a very high temperature capability, are 50% lighter, produce much less dust, will not corrode from water or salt, and should have a life of near 100,000 miles of normal road use. That's essentially the life of the car the way most of these are driven. The weight reduction lowers the unsprung vehicle weight thus improving handling.

My TTS is DD, it's so comfortable. But still it's only for short distance use. Long distance driving makes you very tired

Try a different seating position - I have no problem with 6, 8, even 10 hour drives.

And mostly marketing. This has been debated endlessly. If you think they are worth 10K then get them. You can order them on a TT then the diff for me at least is 15K. I will take it. Affording it is not an issue. My 458 has ceramics and on the street is stops no better than the TT.

I have only had my '15 TTS since July 18 and have put about 500 miles on it, including a very long day on the 19th. I found the seat to be very comfortable and supportive, as did my gf. The seat ventilation is also very effective. Will definitely use it for long trips as well as DD, except if hail is forecast.

My Turbo S is a toy and I do not use it everyday because while it is ok to drive and leave in my gated community, their are to many axxholes here in Palm Beach to be driving and leaving a 200K car everyday. So,I drive a nice 4x4 as a DD and the TS as the toy.As for the car,it is outstanding in everyway and can be used as a Daily Driver if you wish...

My 2015 is the same as the 2014. 2016 may be different. Will probably know for certain early next year. Configurator changed to 2015 from 2014 on April 1, but the news will be out before then.

Since the 2014 MY was the first for the 991 Turbos, I really doubt there will be a facelift for the 2015 MY, and would be surprised to see it for MY 2016.

So don't wait - get yourself into a Turbo S right away and start enjoying what the rest of us have been raving about!

Well, recently i have visited the car dealer and was about to order the 2015 turbo s version, however i asked if there was going to be any face lift added to the car, in which he replied that their is a might be a minor change to the 2016 version ( The two bumpers and the tail light). He also told me that if it was possible, i could upgrade the 2015 version to the 2016 and that if it was compatible based on the vehicle body, which yet to be released completely. + There are some leaked pictures of the 2016 version.

So i thought of just waiting additional year, or any thought on it?
