^ really depends on the person and their financial situation.

tracking any car is expensive. tires, brakes, oil changes, trailer, insurance, etc... it adds up quickly. Not everyone you see driving a ferrari,porsche,lambo is in the same financial boat. There are guys barely making the 2-3k/month payments and there are guys who paid the msrp on day 1.

This is a good perspective but if you go to the track you need to be able to afford to "leave it at the track". $hit happens - it's not "if" but "when".
