Amazing hook up by both off the line, particularly the GT3! Good find

I was driving a friend's Speciale this weekend and as I was blown away how much more comfortable it was than the GT3... Speciale is more like an S class and the GT3 was more like a go kart... Quite interesting... The two could not be more different..

If I had to choose between the two, I would have to say the Speciale, but then again the Gt3 does so much and at such a good price which makes it absolutely irresistible

The 458 did not use the "power start" (launch control) feature. Using this the Ferrari would launch as well as the gt3 assuming both had same or similar tires.

Still gt3 put up a good fight. Gearing in Ferrari better too.

I am really impressed with that GT3 time of 11.63. That is FAST!

We were at Famoso on Saturday.

BTW, I destroyed the 458 4 out of 5 times. The video captures the last race where we tied at 11.63.

My best time was 11.618. I didn't even deflate my tires. Kept it at 39 psi. 458 lowered it to 29 psi.

I have owned both cars. The 458 feels slightly quicker but I actually prefer the GT3 from a driving standpoint! I love my 3

Yes he did. He used the launch control. The Ferrari launch control is not very consistent.

With my GT3, my times were between 11.618~11.78 (with traction control on) the whole night. 458 has lot of issues with the launch control system. He even got into the 12s in some of his runs.

If I was betting that night, I would've cleaned house. The consistency and the bullet proof feeling of the GT3 is just amazing.

Here is the time slip. I'm 91 and the 458 is 101.

^This....I'd be broke if I was wagering on my 458 launch control being consistent...
