I agree with you, but I really don't think these problems are going to stop until they fix the ECU. Most of the knowledge on heavily tracking the current generation sits outside PAG right now - dealers are just being told to replace engines rather than do any real testing which is difficult with a street car customer.

IMO - it's a symptom patch up at the moment rather than spending the time/resources to fix the cause of the problem. I have a RS coming and I'll have 3 cars with 9A1s in my garage when it arrives so I'm not bashing either...

Why, when the internet forums can go on speculating and hand wringing for page after page after page?

Let's see if or for how long RS's keep getting delivered. How many GT3 failures did we know about before the previous stop sale?

Based on that post it would seem that it was not an RS issue but an aftermarket one?.

So it would appear. If true, then 10 pages and 145 posts (so far) about possible "engine failure" in the RS for......maybe nothing. I guess posting keeps us off the streets.

Ten pages about an engine failure and, it's not an engine failure.

Dan (thinks the thread needs to be closed)

Gentlemen, we all know how comments can get distorted on the internet. Let's hope this is one.

Default RS engine failure

It doesn't appear to be an engine failure IMO. But with 3 photographed examples it is clearly a fire so they need to rectify whatever is causing this to happen (my guess is rear where running through an oil pipe etc).

They would never do that...otherwise it could blow up their dealer above msrp scam if there is a real problem.

At least Ferrari won't allow that. When you order a car you get it for msrp...sounds good until the buyer sells the car back to the dealer with few miles for msrp or a little above and then the dealer can sell way above msrp...like they do with the Special. Shady car biz.
