You don't have to spend this kind of money on a 458. You can get a 2014 Italia with +/- $2K miles for around $260K. A 2011 is below $200K in some cases. Anxious to see where 458 prices go once the 488 hits the streets. Might get even more tempting.

It will be interesting but a lot of people, like myself, are holding for now....the turbo is not all that exciting to me...it would cost me $100K plus my car to move up.....I'm a little fish in the Ferrari pond and got a call to order a 488 already....not sure if tells of slow initial sales or not....my guess is we won't know that for a yer or two as all the initial cars will sell....it's what things look like down the road which is impossible to predict....

My guess is that the reserve is either MSRP + $100k OR MSRP + $100k + sales tax paid.

the 458 for me was a rattle trap. huracan is more compliant than 458 and better torque, still great noises.
