Default Clear Bra and Road Hazzard

I really wish Waze would stop reporting cars on the side of the road. I've tuned Waze out because of those stupid reports that no one cares about. So, a "watch out, object on road" warning came up and I'm listening to classic rock oblivious to the two foot wide hunk of black plastic that's about to hit my front bumper at 85 mph.

Yeah, the splitter popped out of two tabs. There are black scuff marks near the bottom of the bumper where the splitter is and I had to pop the splitter back in.

I am so glad I got my whole car wrapped. The black marks will wipe right off and if not, I can have bumper re-wrapped.

Dan (shares his bad morning that isnt so bad because of bra commute)

Good to hear there was no damage to the car. Waze reports can be annoying.

You know, it probably was worn tire, not plastic. I think because Googe bought Waze and is doing Google Maps, it will probably make changes on Waze for the worse so people go to Google Maps instead. They already changed the nice female voice.

Dan (wiped it clean off and, good as new)

I find the number of non-essential alerts extremely annoying, still surprised they haven't made that one of the options to configure. Google bought Waze over two years ago and haven't done much to it it seems. I don't care for the new voice, my only thought is that it is being used to reduce bandwidth consumption or be able to automate pronunciation somehow. I deal with all of the downsides since it is still far better than any radar detector where I live.

The downside is people reporting too much because they want the "Waze points" or whatever they are. A car on side of road warning can be helpful but not if the car is leaving and they still Post it. The police and object in road warnings can be good but not if they are too old. They should have it say how long prior it was reported. Usually a police report from 30 minutes prior is no good when you get it.

Glad to hear the damage is minimal. I've hit a ground hog at about 30 and it just left some underside scrapes and a piece of metal at 75. That left a few scratches on the lip. Thankfully that was all as I thought it hit the side of the car and damaged the metal.

You can turn off the road hazard reports in settings.

Not a fan of Waze; I have no desire for big brother to know how fast I am going

No Waze for me.

I just drive the speed limit. And obey all traffic laws.
