Yup, I have a deposit down a 3 non-CA dealerships for a .2GT3, .2RS, GT4RS/.2GT4. As you can see, I learned my lesson from this go around of GT cars.

I decided to pay a small premium to buy a GT4 from a 918 owner (penalty for being late to the party I guess) since it had the bucket seats. I'm in the low single digits slots at these 3 dealers so maybe I get calls from all of them. I hope they do come out with a GT4RS, but then again I have a bad Porsche sickness and worse yet is that I'm running out of space to keep all of these cars.

This is precisely what has been told to me.
Getting 520 bhp from 4 liters for a atmo engine is possible but will be at cutting edge of design envelope and affect durability I suspect. Ferrari were the highest on the Speciale at 132 bhp/L and the 991GT3 & RS both at 125 bhp p/L approx. Now the Ferrari V8 atmo engine is being phased out we may see a ceiling for a while on 132 bhp/L for a little while?
I dont believe Porsche will have another engine with 9000 rpm anytime soon.
The 7 speed manual would be horrible. I hope the develop a new 6 speed unit.
The "R" sounds like another marketing spin IMO.
Anyway its great to have more choice!

6 vs 7 speed doesn't matter for we probably know that the odds of the gearing of the R will be different, from the other Porsche MT's, and that the 7th gear will be for highway cruising. Hopefully...
