I don't doubt it. And my comment was not to take anything away from the Golf. It's just what I saw in the video. I was waiting for something *unbelievable* to happen and then the clip ended.

A 1980s rabbit blowing by a 991 Gt3 that is running at full tilt surely seems unbelievable to me.

a) The GT3 driver sped up only enough to pass the Nissan. By the end of the clip the Nissan is starting to close again which it could not have done if the GT3 was going full tilt.
b) We wouldn't even be talking about this if the GT3 was red instead of white. White cars are faster....psssh.....
c) Still, that Golf is fast, any way you slice it, or....
