This may be obvious but, is the solenoid default to allow vacuum to the flaps? I'm looking to delete the valves all together and wonder if the best way would be to do it at the solenoid by capping/unplugging.
The solenoid unpowered state puts atmospheric pressure to the exhaust valves, leaving them open and the exhaust "loud". You have to actively apply 12V to switch it to vacuum to hold the valves closed. At idle with PSE button off, the stock system applies 12V to the solenoid to keep it quiet.

If you simply leave your harness disconnected and open like Joe mentioned, then the valves will stay open all the time (similar to unplugging the vacuum lines from the valves).

So you could route the jumper wires to the cabin and add a switch to manually override valves? Sounds reasonable.

Thanks for posting your work. Very well thought out solution for those subjected to sound limitations at their tracks. Which, most likely, will be all of us sooner or later.

Not worth the trouble, unfortunately. But maybe some other enterprising individual will do so!

Yes, you can route those lines into the cabin and hook them up to a manual switch. If all you want is loud vs. stock, then a simple SPST switch is all that is needed to either make or break the connection between the 2 wires.

If you want quiet vs. stock, then you need a +12V source and at least a SPDT switch.

What an AWSOM REPORT! I can't imagine the work it took to put this together but, I think I'll just try to "wire" the flaps closed. Can you please comment on how to accomplish this procedure. Many Thanks, Allan
