Default Rattle behind driver door card

As the title states...have a rattle behind the driver door card that developed in the first 500 miles. Is this something that they'd look at under warranty or are they going to laugh me out of the shop? Nissan has gone after rattles/squeaks in my old GTR, but unsure what the general protocol is with cars this expensive.

A B-pillar rattle, behind driver's left ear??? This rattle is typical of the seat belt pretensioner spring. I have had it in several of my cars before. and even in the Gt3. I just give it a few solid hard tugs to engage the safety lock, and it goes away for me. Good luck

I have a similar issue... some sort of higher frequency buzz / rattle on the drivers door card that happens every now and then. Annoying, but I also figure I'll get laughed out of the dealer if I were to bring it up.

Definitely bring your guys cars in if you have the rattle. It would bug me to the point where I'd just focus on it and couldn't drive without noticing it. Which would ruin the experience for me. Bring it in, the dealers are usually pretty good about tracking them down. They wont laugh you out of the shop, but it might be tough to find. It's probably just a loose clip or something easy to fix.

Can someone that's had that rattle sorted tell me what it was so I can instruct the service advisor? I know it's a common rattle something to do with the speaker unit - others have had it sorted but no one can tell me afterwards what it was and my service guys can't seem to find it. To me sounds like a rattle over certain surfaces. Thanks for the heads up on the pretensioner one - I think I've had that too but it's hard to tell with a factory cage in the back as that can make noises too...

I just folded an index card once in half and stuffed it between the door card near the door hinge on my old 991 S and it worked perfectly. You can't see it unless you know where to look.

I once took in a 997 for a mysterious rattle ( at least to me) emanating around the center console. The dealer promptly send in the chief tech in the car with me. Pretty soon he also heard the rattle. Ahem...some loose quarters in the console! Damn embarrassing . Lesson learned make sure there IS a rattle.
