2016 991 GT3?
Hello Guys,
I just noticed today that the internal PCNA configurator has a 2016 GT3 now on it.....which was not there last week? Please email me if you want to possibly get in line for a 2016 GT3. Again I have no knowledge if this is just a mistake or if Porsche is perhaps building some 2016 models now? Thanks fella's!

Interesting development in the "Who's gonna be last?" thread today:
Maybe this is what they're referring to in the internal configurator???
I just reconfirmed with the my sales rep and he says they have 1 June build slot and 4 July build slot.
and my request of Z12 voodoo blue has been turned down by PAG as they 'currently' have no plans for PTS for 991 gt3.
Ps: I have seen the reply mailfrom PAG for Z options request myself.

Thanks Zubairi. If that comes to be, both the June and July builds will be considered MY2016 gt3s. That would be an unusual & very interesting development, since we were anticipating that gt3 production would end right about now. Please keep us posted.

Really wish I could figure out what PCNA / PAG are thinking, or trying to do. Especially with the GT3 (can't seem to stop the slow trickle of builds) vs. GT3 RS (can't seem to get any allocations stateside).
Not the the slow trickle is bad. But it's a bit contradictory here, especially considering GT3 production was supposed to end in December, then January, then February, and yet it still continues.

^Is Porsche obligated to tell owners/possible owners about their production and future plans? I don't think so. All we hear is info from dealers. Not many GT3s allocated for our region, it'll be interesting if they've decided to continue production. Time to visit the dealer .

if really confirmed GT3 re-opened the production is because
If you can t sell an RS because
of completely wrong pricing position against competitors
then re open GT3 well price positioned
and keep the ball rolling having fresh circulating GTx 991
not being able to sell the 2k planned RS builds
i guess they will come back "limiting" the number of RS
Let s call it a darwinian limiting effect

Well, i wanted to get new GT3 3 weeks ago and dealer told me it's not possible any more.
So i had no choice but buy it second-hand in Germany (our country is too small with zero choice), and options-wise the one i got is close to what i wanted, but not exactly so. Also price-wise i'm not very happy about getting second hand for not much lower price than MSRP. But Porsche told me there will be no more 991.1 GT3's available to order and i trusted them.
Importing car from abroad is a major pain in my country. It involves tax office double-checking of car and buyer background, lots of questions and sometimes lots of time. From my previous experience, it's an uncomfortable and even humiliating procedure i would love to avoid, but will 100% have to deal with now.
If Porsche now starts selling new GT3's again, it would be a major disappointment for me and i will feel really pissed-off as loyal customer of this brand. I don't like this sort of games. Thumbs down.
