GT3 - One Piece Bolt-On Harness Bar

Mike, The location where the bar mounts already has a plate there with bolts. The question is what is the box structure made from and what is it designed for, correct? I'm trying to find some information on the body. I've seen colored renderings before that utilize different colors for different grades of steel. If it is an HSLA type then it was designed for higher loads. I'll post what I find.

Been looking around here and other forums for a harness bar since i should be taking delivery soon. This one looks amazing and different than what's on the market
I agree with the OP that breaking the main hoop doesn't seem like a good idea.
OP, i PM'd you for more info on this !
Great work...............

Very nice, the finished product looks great.
Could you elaborate on the "factory mounting points"? My understanding was that US spec cars do not come with the mounting points for the CS package roll bar available in the ROW, so exactly what factory mounting points are you using? Thanks!

The front of the bar is being mounted to the bracket that we made with 3 bolts that are already on the car (one that is holding seatbelt mechanism and two other bolts that are used to tighten down B-pillar brace to the chassis)
I hope that answers your question

Mike, just like Alan said. The rear portion of the bar is being bolted to 2 existing mounting points with 2 M10 bolts (see pic below).

Seems like you did a good job on this bar!
Can you please confirm that cutting of the side plastic panels is not required with your roll bar?
From looking at the pictures It seems like the bar is clearing side panels but hard to say. I really don’t like the fact that panels must be cut with Cantrell bar as they are pretty pricey.

Havent had time to get out there and take some nice pics yet, but here are a few that were on my phone.
Im really impressed by the build of the roll bar and how easily it bolts on. Also how nice the interior goes back around it. If I were to take the roll bar back out one day, the carpet would just tuck back into place and it would look stock.
Just hope I dont need to get to the rear fuse box too often.
