I always hated that hole and have no clue why they carried that over. The engine and interior (especially dash) will be great to see in person.
Haha, I did not know it came from a Q7. That is pretty funny.

The press release from Audi says the V10+ is 110.2 pounds lighter than before. They give a dry weight of 3205.5 pounds.

Now, if they would make it RWD it would be even lighter. . .

^ Will be most interesting if they still offer the Gated manual and keep the car under $200,000. It will be too tempting with a 600 HP screaming NA V10 with a sport exhaust to boot.

There aren't offering manual as of now and I expect they won't add it later.

I love the concept and the engine and how light it is.

But, I think the older one looked better.

It is 110 lbs lighter than the old one. The as tested weight per car and driver of the v10 coupe was 3687 lbs. So this 3250 dry weight is meanless. I am thinking it will be closer to3500lbs for the coupe on the road, if not a tad more. My friends v10 cab was tested at 3900lbs. These are not light cars and they do not feel light either. Tons of understeer also. The new car will be lighter, but it will not be light but any measure.

I've always found the R8 to be somewhat odd looking and hoped there would be a greater departure from the previous model , but that's just me . I will say I think it always looks better in the flesh than photos and perhaps the new one will be that much nicer .

Looks good in the pics. That grey interior though.. Ugh.

Hope it's under 200k! Does anyone know if they will release pricing on the 3rd?

The huracan starts at like 230k. If the R8 is over 200k, I will take a base huracan.

I think the Euro pricing has been released and the prices aren't up much from the old model. I think the v10 plus will be around $185k.
