Hi all, I had searched for exactly this thread as I also would like to paint the 3.8 on my wing supports. I don't have the facility to do any painting where I park so I investigated getting the logo plates off. Turns out it is dead simple. Open the engine lid, there are 2 large air passages, 1 on each side. If you look up the passage, you can see the back of the plate. Turns out they are attached only by a thin piece of double sided tape. With a little force on the aft corner, push from inside. I have mine off now, it took me about 5 minutes.
