I normally would never buy preowned, but with these wheels, I really had no choice if I wanted them now since BBS isn't planning to sell the FI-R's state side for a few more months.
My O.Z. wheels at 2k didn't fall apart and were light weight. But, since you are such a concerned guy, might I interest you in some other snake oil:

My response was not meant to spark controversy or imply one maker's products are better than another. Yes, BBS is a pricey solution, and Yes, I am a person who is willing to pay to play. Nothing more. OZ makes a great solution with a racing heritage that is unquestionable and still runs the game (Formula 1). Each manufacturer makes an affordable as well as a High-End solution and ultimately, the path chosen is up to the buyer. Additionally, BBS is not the only high quality manufacturer in the game, but, BBS is the trusted manufacturer that I have chosen. In the end, it all comes down to looks, fitment, and confidence in the Brand and to each their own.

i just paid $9000 for two bicycle wheels. i am still in shock myself. so much so i bought another set (lightweight milenstein schwartz obermyer)!

but you are right PP holds value way better!
Always wanted a set of 'Lightweight' wheels crazy light I bet.
Some people would say I'm crazy with 3 sets of Zipps... It is all about wheels!
Now I'll have to keep an eye out for that jumbo PP )

many love enve, i had a set, not impressed.
zipp, chepaer than enve but for me, better wheels 202 and 303
i tried a set of LWT. obyermers are sub 1000g. but the CF spokes makes the difference. to my, it's more comfy, stiffer and spins up faster. replaced my zip and enve with two set of lwt.

I'm light, and yes I have issues with cross winds. I try to avoid riding on windy days, but still run into issues every so often.

this isnt a track mod IMO. i had bbs centerlocks on my gt2 rs. looked amazing but the cheap 18s i used were better. Now for racing i use BBS cup wheels, for the strength.
turbo s and gt3 same offset?
