Default If this is the last NA GT3

By some accounts, this may well be the last of the NA GT3's.
If that is the case, will you:

- sell it / trade it as normal with your next purchase
- keep this car longer than you normally would
- this one will be a very long term keeper

IF (big IF) it's the last NA, then I will keep it longer.

I think there will be a 991.2 NA GT3 which will be the last not the 991.1

^ ATX, the poll just took me bit longer to type out. It's now up.

I think you may well be correct. My dealer seems to think so as well. Having said that, the delays in getting this variant out have no doubt thrown out the normal model release timeframes and could mean no 991.2 GT3.

Bearing the above in mind, I plan to keep this car for longer than I normally would or till a .2 GT3 comes out...if it's a NA car.

My plan is to keep it for 2-3 yrs and get the Speciale when the price drop a little more…….maybe wishful thinking but a man can dream.

I agree, that's my opinion too. Either way, if this car is as great as everyone says, [and I'm sure it is], this certainly could be my last Pcar. [getting up there in age].

Just another "last"
Having owned Porsche's for 35 years, I've grown tired of spending my money on the "last"
I've had the last: longhood, torsion bar, pontoon fender, air-cooled, Mezger, manual transmission, etc.
Finally learned to appreciate what I have and just enjoy it.
YMMV

Wisened gospel right there. This goes for all products we love where marketers shrewdly create a scarcity principle to drive sales. The more we love the product, the more we buy in to this technique. However.. "Last manual transmission" really does mean something, and . "Last naturally aspirated" - if true - really drive that sense of buyers panic home.

Gt4 anybody?

At the moment the poll would also indicate that there's unlikely to be a flood of cars for resale any time soon.

What is your definition of a price drop?....I want to trade my 458 in but can't get an allocation and used prices are crazy.....with a turbo coming I would not be surprised if they hold very well.....

All of the articles I've read have suggested or outright stated the GT3 will be the exception to the 911's transition to forced induction. Is there an article I'm missing? If so, would someone post it, please?

IMHO, I think that Speciale will probably be around 250ish in 2.5-3 yr. With the new 458M coming soon, I believe that the FCar owners are more receptive to turbocharging than Porsche owners. For example, the previous generation California price has dropped significantly since the new turbo one came out. However, FWIW, I think people who buy a 458 is different than California buyers.

Again, I can only hope…..
