This thing is really madness, in PDK-S mode the shifts are so fast and crisp and I am totally addicted to downshift and do it over and over again.

And the the noise it makes when above 4k rpm when the valve opens...... I have less than 50 miles and I already went 8k+ rpm once accidentally I will take it easy for the next 2,000 and hopefully this will not damage the engine. I was thinking that they probably did that in the factory during testing as well.

2k miles! Lol. No need!! Seriously. Run a couple tanks of gas through her gradually increasing your aggressiveness. Then drive it like you stole it. Key is letting the engine come to temp. Once it's warm flog it. That is what the rest of the world does.

Ha! I'm such a p***y. I'm at 600 miles and I haven't gone over 4k RPM yet. Dying to but just figured I'll respect the break in. I'm sure I'm way too cautious.

Congratulations on the new car! Enjoy it at whatever RPM you choose.

That's patience I just know I don't posses. I personally think you can start to let it rip if you've done 600 miles. You need those rings to seal!

Congratulations on the new car. Keeping below 4k is tough.
