For me I wouldn't even consider any Cayman (GT4, etc) for well LESS than MSRP.

MSRP probably about $100k, which means $120k+ with options when done...no thanks. I'll keep my GT3 for a few grand more.

I always let the first buyers take the initial hit, especially when it comes to "market adjusted" cars.

Time is of the essence but not so for new cars… Just enjoy your other car(s) until things are ironed out.

991 GT3s didn't get adjustments did they?

Think you are high on the price - still hoping for 80's...

Hope this isn't my dealer, as I am #2 with Msrp in writing. If supply/demand is similar to the GT4, it will not be hard to find a car at Msrp, but it's nice to buy from your local dealer. Mine is only 2 miles away.

Go ahead and name the dealer!

Even if they "come to their senses" they've engaged in shady dealings.

Alex, Is it the same dealer that you ordered the GT3? If yes, maybe they are trying to tell you to look at other dealers as you didn't buy the GT3 from them. bad taste in their mouth. Either way it sounds fishy.

CAlexio,

What's your status with the dealer I put you in touch with earlier?

OP your dealer is so full of BS it's sick. I have a very good relationship with one of the top executives at PNA, I asked him if he would be at a certain auto show for us to get together. I then asked if he had any news that he could share about the GT4. He response was, "I can't say anything yet but don't those spy shots look great"

He has been spot on regards to the GT3 and the US production numbers etc.

Ask your dealer to show you the allocation list from PNA. He will be looking for some time.

I've been thinking that we might need to get a master dealer blacklist together. Not that hard to create in the age of crowd-sourcing and social media- yelp for Porsche dealers.

I know not everyone will check it but we would, and if asking over gets a mark on the list, some might think twice before pulling this crap. And if it does snowball legit dealers should benefit...

Definitely! And push PCNA to take action against all this nonsense.
