as some of you know, i am very particular with my cars. and if you stared at it too much, i may very well poke your eyes out.... so recommendation is not often given!

i had my cars worked on by fremont porsche and they always did great. recently i had a MAJOR work done to one of my cars and i have to say they did an amazing job with all the communication and coordination. there are always bump on the road, but at the end, i am happy with the splendid result.

if you are anywhere near them, i would recommend their service dept and SA gunter.

and of course, the parts dept with scott is wonderful at finding me strange parts that i always request!

Good to know the service dept is good ...

Parts on the other hand not so much ... Took 3 times for them to give me a correct oil filter and 2 crush washers ...

on another occasion paid to get parts overnighted and they confirmed parts are here in CA and should be in first thing in the morning ... took 3 days to get it because someone somewhere didn't order it properly ...

It was because of reading your posts, Mooty, that I went with them as well. Thanks for spreading the good word, I have had a great experience with Viraj (aka "Raj") so far, and Vinnie was a great babysitter the last time we visited.

+1 for Gunter @ Fremont Porsche as well. He goes the extra distance for you. He and his shop are busy but there's a reason for that.
