Great reports on the buckets guys. Looking forward to get my car and it sounds like the seats will be fine. My `11 had the GT2 seats and the wife hated them because they were hard to get in and out of. Sounds like she's going to hate these, also. Oh well, that's life .

But when she finally does get in them, she will never want to get out.

For the life of me I still can't understand why porsche can't make an option to recline them. Another way to get more of our money.

I finally got to sit in one of these seats today. At 5'7 and 138lbs, they felt a little big for me.

I'm that size and also ordered the LWB's. Do you slide, side to side much or just not snug? What's your waist size, if you don't mind me asking?

Friend got his car with LWB and I tried it today. As nice as it looks I find the 18 way more comfy for my DD use. If you track w/o the doubt its the way to go. You wont need adjustment as you are pretty much locked in place. Getting in and out is easy if you are in good shape Love the CF on the seats. I kept rubbing the CF's. Feels good. Cheers.

Eat more. I used to be skinny too but now, at 6'1' and 210#, they fit me just fine!

LWB are great. For about 30 minutes.

They're snug like a jock strap, hold you in place, but after about 31 minutes they become quite uncomfortable. Sort of like being strapped in the electric chair kind of uncomfortable.

But they do look slick and if your GT3 will see nothing but serious track or auto cross duties 90% of the time, then there's no reason not to spec them.

The longest I've been in the car is 4 hrs and I found them to be fine, I did go on Amazon and buy a lower back cushion to make it better but I still thought they were comfortable.

I'm 6' and 165lbs and they are a little loose, but still far more snug than the 18 way seats

I only sat in the car so I cant comment much on sliding, but I could rock back and forth a bit.

I wear a 29. I'm at the gym every morning so most of my weight is muscle which keeps me pretty small, and I do a lot of cycling.

I commute for an hour in each direction; perfectly comfortable for the entire drive. I haven't gone over an hour yet but they feel just as good as the 18-way seats in my last 3 911's.

Thanks for the response. That's funny, I lift weights weekly and cycle too.

any concern with bolster wear? My detailer said I should look for something to protect at least the door side bolster, anyone doing anything?

yes...it's a concern and I'm looking for solution for both the door side lower bolster and lower alcantara cushion because when I get in I turn slightly after my left leg is in and the lower alcantara will eventually wear from this slight shift. I was thinking of having a small removable cover that goes over that bolster and has a flap attached that covers the lower alcantara. Need to have something stitched up to test.
