Folding in exterior mirror?

It "rotates" rather than "folds". Grab the tapered end of the mirror furthest from where it attaches to the car and lift up and slightly in toward the window. The mirror will rotate from a 3 o'clock to a 12 o'clock position.
To be fair to the OP there is only a written description of how to fold the mirror on page 43 of the 991 GT3 manual and there is no picture.

yeah thanks - I tried doing just what the manual says and it didn't budge. I didn't want to push harder for fear of breaking it. I guess it requires a bit more torque.
