Folks, GMG very much would like us to be there this weekend, we're advised that there will be 30 vendors on display, give away, raffles and shop tours. That said, and please correct me if I'm wrong, this run is really about the canyon run and get together first and foremost and a vendor visit was added as a secondary bonus since we were originally invited for a visit and lunch.
Safety remains our first priority. Your responses clearly indicate we'd prefer the delay in the event of rain. While we appreciate GMG's very kind offer for lunch this weekend at their open house, based upon responses received, we'll only be attending as a group weather permitting. Obviously, if we reschedule, interested folks are still welcome to attend on their own.
So, the present plan is that we will proceed with the run on Saturday as long as it's clear. If it rains, we'll reschedule for the next weekend. Another vendor / Rennlist Premium Sponsor located in Orange county has also kindly offered to provide us with lunch at the end of the run next weekend if a rescheduling is necessitated. And, we could meet up there at our option as well. We'll check the weather Friday night and Saturday morning and a post will be made very early Saturday morning as to status. Thanks everyone for keeping up-to-date.

I think a postponement is a good idea, and probably the option that makes the most sense.
If there are folks who just want to swing by GMG for their open house this Saturday, that's still an option. With or without their GT3.
Thanks for all the hard work, Dan.

If we delay, we can have lunch at the invitation of our back up vendor and can continue on to GMG thereafter. I'm sure we'd all like to say hello. James unfortunately will be unavailable however, Scotty can be avaiable to meet and greet us and provide a tour.

It will be unfortunate if we end up missing out on the GMG Open House. Again, folks should feel free to go to that event regardless of whether or not our canyon run gets delayed until next week.

But I'm coming from down south in San Diego.
We should have a quasi-impromptu GT3 meet of sorts at GMG if enough people are interested.
