Re the Palomar Mtn route, it's one of my favorites. If we go there, we should also loop in "Mesa Grande Rd.". It's a blast and minimal traffic.

BTW, I am looking for a non-white or back GT3 if you guys know of any in CA.

Thanks,
James,

What do you need the "non-white" car for? I have one in GT Silver.

I think we already set the bar sufficiently high for the worst possible road. I'm still pulling gravel out of my ears after that brief run over Mulholland Hwy W.

HAHA, yeah some of those sections were pretty sketchy, and had me worried about our rides. I remember thinking the 918 driver must be going nuts!

I was! Fortunately Moe's temporary protection (trac wrap) did it's job and the car came through unscathed!

Man, I am torn..........was leaning towards a yellow one and then I saw the Sapphire Blue.........that blue is GMG's color......hence my search for one. It will be a full GMG build......looking to dig deep into the 991 version like we did with the 997.1 and 997.2 versions......Then, you can't go wrong with white......but that's just it, it's too safe of a color.....now my head is spinning....haha!

Bigkraig, which one did you get? The blue 14?

Curious as well. Picked up a Macan at Walters and saw a nice what I believe was Sapphire Blue 991 GT3 on the showroom floor. Was stunning.

I have some iPhone photos but the red looks like crap with that camera. It's the red car in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3/...range-gt3.html

I'm in but I can only afford a Cayman and I'm hungry.

Can someone pick up lunch for me?

I can spearhead LA caravan if need be.

I'm in. I'm sure that, by then, I'll be able to get those revs to where we all love them.

Thanks for the suggestion Don. I'm going to need to put my notes and maps together eventually.
