I've got a couple of Suzuka pro technology's sitting in my living room now and am waiting for the delivery truck to call me with my Cantrell. If I can secure the mounting plate in time I'll have it all in this weekend. I'll snap some photos.
Thanks for chiming in. This hand-made bar by another forum member claims to do it all in one piece using the factory mounting holes. The only obvious difference I can see is that it is missing the vertical "ear" piece that runs up the wall of the car on your bracket. Is there any particular reason you chose not to do it this way? Some are claiming the cuts in the main hoop used for mating to your brackets compromises the bar's ultimate strength if the car were to roll. Would be great to get your thoughts on all of the above.
Mech33, this image doesn't show the supplied brackets that are used in the front to mount the bar. So the "vertical ear" is there
I got them but I can't post them from the iPhone app. I'll put them up tonight! It looks good and went it pretty easy the second time. The first time we didn't follow the directions really and had the rears on the pegs before getting the front in.
Took the car to chocolate thunders shop to do the install. Not really sure my curbside west Hollywood hills installation would have been able to cut it! It did get some looks ripping apart a 170k car on the side of the street though
