Default All Aboard the Green Dale?!

Hi Guys,

Just received word that my 15' Black GT3 (PCCB's, Black Wheels and LWB) is aboard the Green Dale.

My dealer says the arrival ETA is Dec. 5th to San Diego. Is anybody else on this ship?

What do you think the realistic timing would be of taking delivery in LA?

Thanks in advance!

I'm on it with my white, black wheels, PCCB model--thinking I should be able to pick it up from dealer around 12/15.

Fleetmon seems to have a delay it getting up to date info. On the other hand, they are still showing 3 days till it makes an interim stop in San Juan PR.

So I wonder how long it will take for them to get the cars off the boat and to the dealers? I think the GT3 requires an enclosed trailer with a lift gate. It takes longer for Porsche to find enough of those (than the standard drive on open hauler). Last time I think it took a week for my car to be unloaded, processed and transported 35+/- miles to Carlsbad.

Good question… I'm hoping its a maximum of 1 week. If it's not ready by the weekend of the 12th, there's a good chance I won't be able to arrange pickup until the weekend of January 9th!

I live in San Francisco but purchased the car through our dealership in the Chicagoland area (great relationship) and had a courtesy delivery arranged out of LA so I could swing by GMG to get my half-cage and harnesses installed before doing the drive north along the coast for my break in miles!

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Green Dale is back on the map again and almost to Puerto Rico right on time.

So if to just I want to go down to SD and gawk at the ship when it comes in, is there anything I can really see? (Obviously I am in need of some serious meds, just thinking about my car coming in!)

Looks like it's pulled out of San Juan PR, and is just southeast of the Dominican Republic. Faster please!😝
