Default Tracking car from Entry Port to delivery to dealer?

My salesman gives me zero confidence he knows how to use the Porsche system and network to track my car. I've had to coach him every step of the way over the last 13 months. I asked him today if he knows how to track the last stage when the car arrives at the entry port, clears and gets on a transport truck to the dealership. He said there is no way to track it and it arrives unannounced. Do you guys know if this is correct and if not, what should I tell him to do to track it?

Port entry to dealer is one of those areas with few or no updates. Sometimes they can see that it's awaiting transport and other times the car just shows up as the dealer explained. I believe 5-10 days is the normal timeframe for this. I am currently on day 5 from when my car made entry to port and the dealer expects the car Monday or Tuesday.

You can get a shipping schedule for VW LOGISTICS on line and try to match it up with your scheduled expected departure from Emden (your dealer can provide you with this). The most dependable way to go however, is to ask your dealer to confirm on their system when your car has left Emden and it will list Vessel Name on the vehicle information sheet. Otherwise you're guessing and you may end up tracking a ship your car's not on.

There are only a few points where you might be able to get status info:

Here are a few of the status codes:
V331 Entry port Emden
V332 Exit port Emden (its on a ship, now you can track with marineTrafic.com
U000 Entry port Davisville
NA10 PDI in
NA19 PDI finished
V810 Release for transport - Monroney printed (now its waiting for the truck)

I don't think you can find out anything from V810 to delivery. The V810 to delivery time is really variable.

Others on this forum have said their dealer has called to tell them what day the car will arrive
