Finally here GR GT3
Finally arrived. Last of my dealers 2014s. I thought I should post it being as of late all I did was complain it wasn't here. Glad I got to drive it before winter sets in. I realize they are already out there, but I figured I would post it.

Guy in Pix
The guy in the pix is Paul ( General Manager of Paul Miller Porsche). I figured I would give a plug, because he was pretty good throughout this situation.
He and his employees are nice to the clients, and that means I will return.
Anyway, the saga is over. Now I have to get thru the break in and feel her rip at 9000 rpm.
This spring I will take it on the track and see what she can really do!!

Great car, reminds me of my GR 996 GT3, I bought it from a mortgage broker who was making a killing in 2004. He had had it for 2 months and wanted a Ferrari, so he sold me his $130K GT3 for $90 2 months after he bought it but he was making cash so fast he did care.
BUT the car was all decked out in GR sport seats and red trim pieces with PCCBs. I think I had it for a year and sold it for $85
I miss it. the best looking one I have had.

that is absolutely stunning.... so clean.... a good reminder of how wonderful any Porsche can look in a classic Porsche color with simple silver wheels, without all the doodads - PCCB, LEDs, painted wheels, etc. Made me think of one of the many I wish I still had...It looks ancient in comparison... sorry for the OT digress, but reminded me a lot of this car...

She's a beauty! Congrats to a fellow Jersey boy. Not fair that mine is still on a boat!
Paul G. is a great guy. I've been dealing with Paul Miller Porsche for 12 years and they are very customer driven and passionate about Porsche's.
You've got a great weekend to drive it here in NJ. Enjoy!

Thanks for the kind comments. I bought a less optioned build. I still spent 11k on options. The wheels were a good buy at 350 dollars. I thought they made the red pop. Now, I have to wait until tomorrow night, because we promised little kids we would do a halloween event with them. I agreed thinking the car was never coming
Anyway, I have a lot to learn about it for sure. I like GR and almost bought a GR 993, but that didn't work out. My 993 is white, so it works for me.
I am very impressed with how quickly the PDK shifts. I am equally as amazed as to how noisy it is. It truly makes a mechanical racket in traffic ( in auto mode).
I was expecting it to work like an F1 Ferrari trans, and in a way it does, but there are differences. One is the noise. The F car used a single dry plate clutch, so it made clutch noise. I am not sure where this comes from but it sure is loud.
All in all, not a bad day!!!!
I hope everyone gets a sunny day to pick theirs up too!!!!

Congratulations on the silver wheels… They look fantastic with GR. This might be the first time I prefer those wheels to the regular grey
