Love the livery. Off topic question for ya. I have a .7 RS and love cars with character so I'm considering a G63 as well since I've always liked looking at them. How are you liking it? I hear it's a love hate thing. I'm considering ordering one next year but plan to leave it outside and actually use it. Have you had a good experience with it? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

here's the dot point for the G63:

Awesome off road (see here: G63 Offroad story)
Fast in a straight line
Hates corners more than the GT3 loves them
Ridiculously loud (especially if you have the high flow cats and pipes installed like mine)
So much character
Wouldn't change it for the world (have already ordered the supposed new model for 2017)

Have to finish the post with another pic... Driven properly the GT3 also makes a great "all you can eat buffet" for the local birdlife... the front of the car was surrounded by birds as soon as we parked for breakfast. Unfortunately only one determined (read hungry) bird remained when we went over to get the shot.

But the wildlife was soon replaced with the "wild sound" of the flat 6 as we went hunting for the next corner:

We managed to stop for coffee in between some awesome driving roads:

Before washing away two days of cross country driving..

For those interested I have the Xpel Ultimate clear wrap over the entire car and the bugs washed straight off with very little effort. Over 900 miles of driving in two days and not a mark on the car. If you plan on using your GT3 the Xpel is a must !!

If you don't mind me asking how much $ did the full Xpel wrap cost?

Around 5k Aussie dollars. This was every panel, mirrors, headlights, rear spoiler, bumpers etc. Including customized / modified templates and removing headlights and wrapping xpel around and under all edges rather than just to the edge.

Smart choice of applying decals over the film. If, for any reason, you decide to sell, and new owner doesn't like the decals, always nice to be able to remove decal and save clear bra

Great coverage of your road trip Seb. Awesome pictures. I dont know how you did it but every one of them is worthy of an award! You need to be travelling quickly to make bugs splat like that ;-)

Question: Would you recommend Installing Epel film first then coat with CQuartz then put a decal over it? or wouold you put the CQuartz on after everything?
At a later date can you change and remove the decal without harming the Epel ?
Thank you,
Jerry
