Default Desperately......Mermaid Ace

Departed already, or any second. My updated arrival at Davisville and PA dealer only fit this vessel. Any info would be welcome!

I just got confirmation today that I'm on Mermaid Ace as well. Looks like a 10/26 ETA for Davisville. Hopefully the Hurricane dies down and moves through quickly.

My car is on Mermaid Ace too.

Track her here. Comes up in the red box. Pic of her to the left. Due in Oct 26 at 21:00 hours.

I think any of our vessels can be tracked on this site around the coastal waters.

The VW Logistics Schedule shows estimated dates. The marinetraffic website shows the updated real-time ETAs as the vessel travels. I watched the date change from 10/24 to 10/25 and finally 10/26 when it finally set sail out of Edmen.

I think the Hurricane is slowing things down a bit. This happened to me once before and things got jammed up in Davisville for 3 days. Hopefully things will move along quickly with this storm..

Thanks, the changing date did have me pondering storm delays and average speed corrections in eta programs... Then I just had to let it go.. 'Til tomorrow! Fun times.

It looks like it got pushed back 4 more hours to 01:00 UTC on 10-27, but for us that's still 10-26 EST (8PM). I'm still hopeful for an end of Oct. Delivery!

In consideration of the projected path of Gonzalo, It's going to be interesting, during the day today, to see the course of the Mermaid Ace. It would seem that she may steer pretty far South, to stay below the storm as it goes by to the North of her Sunday-Monday. However, if She does that she's on the side of the cyclonic spin, that faces her towards the higher apparent wind. Exciting!!
I'm very glad I'm here, and not there!

Hopefully there will be the calm after the storm.

Nor'Easter coming through too, but I think it will be gone by Thursday so the Mermaid should see calm seas.

I bet she stays south. Good luck fellas! Kentucky Highway
missed the eye by about 200 miles! Fortunately on the leeward side.

^Thanks for the update. She looks to be heading south towards Spain and Portugal to stay under Gonzalo. Guessing she'll head due west in a bit.
