Rearview Mirror Build in
Display from radar detector/jammer build into rear-view mirror. Very slick....
Sensor in front build into mesh and more or less completely invisible.

Installed by Stevinson Imports in Denver, where I took delivery on Thursday morning.... Will do a more complete write up once I get a few things completed. Delivery involved a 1340 mile drive back to the NW... This has to be the best way to get a new car and Craig at Stevinson was a blast to work with since I got the allocation back last year!

I've heard the 9500Ci is all you need these days, unless you live in Atlanta where you do in fact need something to defend against the dragon eye. Can anyone on here vouch for this?
On another note, I was just quoted an outrageous price of $5500 for a 9500Ci f/r laser installed. Called another shop which quoted under $3000. Can you guys give me some idea of a fair price for this?

I paid around $3,300 for an StiR+ and blinder shifters front and rear. Blinder is a little more money than the stock 9500Ci package but better function and looks. $5,500 is way too high.

Subscribed. I'm in Boston. Appreciate tips on a reputable shop. Just quoted 4800 at another place. For $3300, how custom was the install? Slick or basic?
This is for a Cayenne Turbo S BTW, not a GT3.

I agree. After doing lots of research for laser, the ALP is superior to K40 360i and Passport 9500i. It has the latest technology, you never know when police receive upgraded guns (pro bono from some insurance companies). The software is easily upgradable, and sensor are smaller and more effective. Ironically, its even priced less than the other laser options. Some dealers are not installing them, as there is more profit/markup with K40 / Passport. Check some other reviews on the 991 turbo boards, and Radar forums.
Note: ALP is only for laser, not radar.
