Not a fan of that off center front license look. Just my take.

^Agreed, but I think it's better than running screws into the center of your front bumper. I would run this for a fix it ticket and then remove it. No problems at this point with not having a front license plate.

If they pull you over, say you just had your car washed and didn't have a chance to put it back on...then you say: I can put it on right now officer, if that would be okay ?

He probably asked cops that pulled him over how their iPhones were working and whether they wanted it to keep working that way? They pull you over, don't think the cop will care so much.

Rockitman,
I will PM you when that happens and let you know the outcome. Until now I never really thought of that happening to someone like me.

If you just run the dealer sticker and keep your car clean, they'll just assume it's a new car.

If you have the rear plate, but no front plate, that gives them an absolute reason to pull you over and/or give you a ticket.

With my cars that just have a rear plate, I've got pulled over for not having a front plate and I also have come back to my cars with tickets from meter maids.

I've heard that with no plates, you don't have to deal with that...

I have my RS registered in Nevada so I don't have to deal with the stupid problem of having no front plate. If they pull me over and ask about it, I'll say that it's legal in Nevada not having a front plate.

I also leave the dealer's temporary registration in the front windshield. I always keep the car clean and new looking, so from the front of the car the police probably won't know that I didn't just buy the car.

Actually know several in CA that do this. I use to tell them it would catch up with them, but it hasn't... Two year later not one they say.

In az front plate is not an issue but going to see how long I can run without a rear plate.

Im not sure why you guys all mental over no front license plate? For the rest of the world its mandatory and we all learnt a long time ago if a guy with a two bar is going to back into your very low GT3 because he didnt see it getting out of a parallel parking spot at least with the plate and wount it sits on that's all hell damage not your PU and paint?

What an I missing with this plate thing is it just the looks? I must be too conditioned to reading foreign test reviews of teh car or seeing front plates every country I travel and live to notice :-)
