Default Bucket seats and children

I was wondering is it possible to have a child in the 991 GT3 if you have bucket seats. Does anyone have a picture with a Child seat in the bucket seats. Or is it dangerous to use anything .

FWIW, Porsche says that "Child restraint systems must not be used in conjunction with sports bucket seats".

Does that mean in an accident insurance would not take care of any incident.

The way I read it, the manufacturer clearly says "don't do it". Without any other way to test if the seats are safe with child restraint systems, you're leaving yourself open to risks with the insurance company at best, and at worst with your child.

I believe it might have to do with the airbag system in the seat interfering with the child seat (and child) and possibly produce worse injuries in the event of crash, not to mention the fact that they might not fit properly in buckets

Even if you wanted to, it won't physically work. The buckets are too narrow to fit a child seat. Do not even try to do it with a rear facing infant seat.

A child old enough for a booster will work, but the only booster I've found that fits (at least with the gt2 buckets) is this:

Isn't he too young to be in booster and only 3 years old?

Too young for a booster anyway. Don't risk your child's life.

I use one of the kiddy seats with a crash shield, I think it will probably fit in the buckets. It's designed to work well with a 3-point belt.

However, it'll just be an emergency solution.
