Default Here's the September 2014 Shipping Schedule...

With so many cars coming, I thought I'd post the September 2014 Shipping schedule. I assume my car will be in the Florida Highway or the Sincerity Ace. Car has been sitting at port for 6 days already. It unfortunately just missed the last boat and wont leave Emden until 9/17 or 9/18

I know it's been posted in other places, but...

Anyone who's curious, you can always download this schedule for the current month by going to http://www.pwl.de/en, selecting your region, and then selecting VW Logistics.

Sean,
How do you track your car ? To know its been sitting at port, curious when the time comes for me
Congrats on getting your original order that's really cool and just meant to be yours ,if it wasn't delayed it couldn't be a GT3

Dealer can see when it exits production, when it arrives at Emden and when it leaves port. It's a bit of a guessing game in terms of ships if two leave at the same time, such as my situation.

I'm learning as I go here, but the schedule I posted is directly from VW logistics and very helpful. I even taught my dealer something on where to pull that schedule.

Thanks on the GT3 - it was totally meant to be. I am so anxious to see it arrive after shes been through so much. I'll give her a hug and tell her I'm so sorry for abandoning her and that I should have never doubted her.

Sean you are lucky its only a 12 day journey from Germany - Mine is in the port too going to San Diego so the only vessel there is Themis Leader takes 28 days then add time to get to the dealer. This is the longest 4 + months ever - its the only time I wished I still lived in England I would of picked it up and driven it home in less than 6 hours !

My Turbo exited product was on a ship took about a month to get to Atlanta soup to nuts. I think that's about average.

Unless something weird happens my car exits production October 10th.

Mine completed production on 9/2, (6 months late...., and was at the port in a few days later.
Based on that info, and my 'DEALER ARRIVAL' date of 10/30...I have to assume (based on this PDF), that my car is on either the HUDSON LEADER or THEMIS LEADER - arriving San Diego (my port of entry) Oct 2 or Oct 13'th.....
Man, the long wait is almost over!!!!!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm looking for guidance regarding the shipping of my 15 TTS. Its currently in the body shop, scheduled for completion 9/19. Is the ship leaving Emden on 9/29 and scheduled to arrive in Davisville 10/10 the only option? As you can tell, I'm very anxious to see my new TTS. I'm in PA.
Thanks for any input.

Ferrari will fly your car in for 7 to 10K. I am sure you can get it air freighted if you want it bad enough.

You need to specify that when the order is placed for the F Car.....my guess is it is too late for his car.....

Just be prepared for the wait from port to dealer and dealer prep time. Mine arrived at San Diego port on 8/18 and was delivered to me on 9/11! It didn't arrive at my dealer until 9/6. That was the worst of the wait for me. Well worth it though. You are all going to love this car!

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping that there were other ships that weren't listed on the original post.

As I understand it the schedule on that site is complete and exhaustive. Don't count on your car getting on the first ship out of there. It may, but it may not.

I worry about the time it takes to get from port to dealer. I am hoping for 2 weeks but that may be optimistic. I suspect I will see my car 10/15 or so.

If you go onto marinetraffic.com you can see what the destination ports of each ship are. I doubt they will be going to the same ports, so from that you can figure out which ship the car will be on.
