Regarding Beverly Hills Porsche which many people here have listed as "bad", my friends and I have bought many cars throughout the years from them. We have never paid over MSRP for anything. On non-"niche" cars, I have always gotten a healthy discount. On niche cars, always MSRP.

I would also like to name Downtown LA porsche. They are great and I have bought many cars from them. Victor the general sales manager is the best in the business.

Thanks everyone for your posts, they helped. I'm passing on my experiences to the extent it may help others as well.

+1 for Rusnak Pasadena. Jason Ka and Fred the GM. GT3 at MSRP $5k refundable deposit. Just left the dealership with my commission number.

By contrast, Rusnak Westlake is asking $15k markup.

Beverly Hills suggested we deal after I said MY 2015, MSRP. I indicated a deposit was made elsewhere so the allocation would not be held up. A new response asked if I was interested in a 2014 at sticker.

I didn't bother checking McKenna or Auto Gallery based upon member posts here.

Thanks for the great Excel spreadsheet. You can add Carlsen +2 bad experiences (mine and Mooty!)

Interesting how experiences can differ with LA dealers. Pasadena Rusnak asked me for 20K over MSRP last week for a Oct build.

Cingulus,
Can you please add Champion Porsche to the Good Team , My SA Mike Peters who previously ran
Champions Motor Sport Team and Jim Hahn Champion's Sales Manager have easily met the criteria
and this is my first order with them . Deposit down 3/8/13 put me #8 on their list and they will deliver
come November
I prefer not to mention a West Palm P dealer with whom I bought/leased 4 new cars in 7 years could
not make that list nor even get me a car even over tissue !

Which is why the list should be composed only of dealers (i.e., actual individual persons) and not dealerships, which are organizations made of individual persons.

There are shady as well as upstanding dealers at just about every dealership.

It is unfair, and incorrect, to lump a good dealer in with a "bad" dealership simply because of the experiences of one "bad" dealer at that dealership.

That's a good point about "dealers" vs "dealerships". However, if you get multiple people stating they had a bad (or good) experience at a particular dealership, it does lend credence to the overall review. For instance, there are at least 3 people who stated Auto Gallery is asking for 30K over, and I imagine it's not all the same dealer.

Thanks for the list. The Porsche of Westwood is the same as The Porsche of Westwood in Massachusetts. You can consolidate that and make the count 2. Thanks again for doing this

Funny story about them going back a few years.

I worked out a price with a sales guy for a new gt3 they had in inventory.

All the details were worked out and deal 98percent done.

I quit searching for other cars.

The day came to finalize the deal, and douchebag sales manager gets on the phone, saying the deal was never authorized, etc..... And he needed another 700 of my dollars. I wanted, needed that car , otherwise would of told him where to go.

Haven't done business with hem since, and probably never will.

I had a bad experience with Autogallery. I purchased a 996 turbo, 996 GT2 and a 996 GT3 from them. The sales manager changed, but I went in there after a day of working in the yard to look at a 997, so granted I didn't have a three piece suit on...the salesman treated me like I was a hobo...never will go by there again period. In a way maybe not his fault, but dont judge a book by the cover especially in LA. Ended up getting a GTS from Beverly Hills porsche instead where the sales manager was then. Not sure if I would back there either though. I have had some really good conversations with DTLA porsche recently, they didn't seem to put their interests ahead of mine, quite the opposite actually which was very refreshing for a change.
