used car sales manager offered me the MSRP if I wanted to sell my car with low miles. He said they will then ask for $15K over MSRP and probably end up selling it $5K over MSRP easily. $5K profit is not bad he said. Have you tried your dealer?

If you really want those bucket seats. You can buy them aftermarket. It'll cost you. I won't. I'm happy where I am. At the end of the day there will always be better, faster, new options. But I'm happy... So who cares.

I'm super happy and not placing my car for sale anywhere. However if there was someone who needed a gt3 now and didn't want to pay sticker, I'm a fair guy and would just dump it and start over again. I thought this was an effortless reasonable offer to throw out there since the other options for Someone who "needs one now" are not as good as mine. Sorry if I offended anyone by mentioning it jeez. Tough crowd.

I remember watching an episode of Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini. He had an old school 70s Mini with Duel Motors. Thing hauled *****. Can't remember if he just drove it or actually owned it. That dude has a lot of cars in storage waiting to be restored or just sitting on them waiting for values to go up. One thing is for sure the past year collector cars, even some, have sky-rocketed in value. If you ever check out the Hagerty Valuation tool you can see where some cars have went up. Think a good portion of it is folks like to put their money into cars. It's not like you can drive a Certificate of Deposit or Share of Ownership around town.

[QUOTE=AC SATCO;11622404]Would the IRS try to knick you if you sold it and made a decent amount? How much would be considered Capital Gains, for instance on a house?
