GT3 Allocation Available

I had no preference.. besides a Nov+ build to secure sport buckets. I lost my first two, secured the 3rd and then posted the other two on the forum after mine was locked in. I will say this, the dealer I am working with has been great.. very eager and helpful. Great service so far. As far as the CA-based dealers that are charging over MSRP, I will never buy from them again.

Great example of why you should never listen to the naysayers that say you'll never find an allocation. Laguna Dude comes late to the party and finds five allocations. Yeah, you can say it's partially a result of the engine debacle, but the allocation game has been the same with every GT3 right up to and including the 4.0.
Basic rule: pick up the phone and don't limit your search geographically.

My guess is that the cold weather dealers in the midwest and east coast will be the place to go to get a 991 GT3 as we get into the dead of winter. Can't stand scumbag stealerships that try to charge over MSRP.

I got 2 allocations by cold calling using the locater on the website.....secured one, left a lot of messages, got a call and dropped the first one because they didn't run my deposit and it made me nervous.....there's cars to be had and my guess some will be on the showroom floor come Spring.....

There is another dealer five miles from me in the other direction, but I much prefer working with Gary and John at Larchmont.

The one I posted at Porsche of Larchmont is legitimate, I live five miles down the road from them and will have purchased 3 cars from them when my GT3 arrives in December.

I think the good Dealers need to be highlighted and the bad ones' listed and reported to PCNA. Nothing worst than shady dealers. I know - "It is America and Capitalism at its best" - It does not mean, we as consumers, have to put up with it and we should blacklist them. Now - I get it if a dealer wants $5000 over MSRP - for me that is the cut off. But that should not be for any of his local Customers.

FYI, my brother got this email from a Colorado dealer, not sure which one, ?Prestige:
However, there is a unique opportunity coming up that would allow us to get you a GT3 very soon. There are about 20 cars that will be auctioned off to Porsche dealers. These GT3's are brand new cars that were affected by the motor issue and had the owners back out. The cars never made it to the dealerships, and they had the motors replaced at port like all the other GT3's sold to date. These cars will come with a 5 year or 100,000 mile warranty.

Eduardo was right. This was conveyed a possibility a couple months ago and it was the West coast where it was conveyed, I believe, the cars would show up. The demand is quite a bit stronger on the West Coast for the GT3 but maybe that is for other sort after sports cars due to weather.
These are the cars that PCNA bought back direct rather than let the Dealers get them. The problem is these cars might actually be bid up so one must watch this closely. I hope PCNA knows what they are doing because if they get bid down could hurt current 2014 Owners but those cars do not come with compensation so we have a built in safeguard

All of them have been decent, only exception is Carlsen (which mooty would agree with)
Worst by far are LA dealers
