Default Light Design Pkg and Voice Control

I'd like to hear from members that chose these options on their 2014.

What does the Light Design Package add? Would you opt for it again?

Does the voice control work well? I'm specifically interested in dialing a number hands free. Would you order it again?

Thanks,

Ryan

Been discussed. Voice control doesn't work well in any 911, but particularly bad in GT3 due to higher ambient noise.

Light package is also waste of money. Mike recently described it as mood lighting only.
Worthwhile maybe for cayenne, not worth it for GT3.

Discouraging to hear. I ordered the LDP on the advise of my SA. He said it looks really cool. Hmmm.

I had it in my C2S and Cayenne. LD is a waste of money IMHO. Mood lighting indeed.

As other stated, waste of money and you only notice it, probably the first time you drive your GT3, then you dont even know it is there. Better spend the money somewhere else. Mark

If you have a tendency to lose your fries at night it's great.

Forget the voice control. I got the LD and still do not know what it is and they explained it a couple times - forget both

Yes footwell included. It makes a big difference when you open the door. Trust me on this Mooty. The overhead has a edge that lights up that's very cool. Also, the two small light in the rear are very small but really nice. They are located by the rear speakers. Whoever designed the door compartment lighting should be fired. It's hardly noticeable unless if you bend over and on your knees. The doors are not LED's.

Additional Dimmable Ambient LED Lighting
- Overhead console
- Area of door handles
- Door storage compartment
- Rear seating area
- Driver and front passenger footwel

Yeah, IIRC they used to charge a bunch for it (those little bulbs and wiring are apparently very expensive) but now it's free with your $130K car.

I have LDP but I dont know what it does. The light ring around the upper light panel in the over head area by the garage door opener is kinda cool, I would have rather spent the money on the PDLS Plus with the LED headlights.
