Like OG, I have the Light Design Package but am not sure exactly what it gives me. I need to catch up with Slip when he gets his car and compare, as his wasn't optioned with it. There are LEDs in the door pockets, which are helpful, but I haven't noticed them in the inside door handles.
And the problem with the footwell lighting is that it's on whenever the headlights are on, rather than just when the door is open or the interior lights are switched on; I need to speak to the service guys to see if that functionality can be changed by them, because I haven't found the option for it via PCM.

I think the LDP as an extension of when everyone got neon lights under the cars in the 90's. Though it can be done tastefully. I would rather do it myself with something aftermarket.

I currently have LDP in my 991 C2S and it just creates ambiance inside the car at night. Great for date nights but not a must for sure. This is one of the few options that I wrestle with when configuring my Dec build 991 GT3 and I ended up checking the box for now.

Try it. This might work in the GT3 too.

if it gives the "glow" that bmw and other brands have with subtle lights which give a shadow to everything inside the car instead of leaving it pitch black like my grandpa's FIAT... (and by FIAT I mean a 1981 128, not a Ferrari like so many on this forum)... then it's worth it. I love seeing details on the inside of my car at night.

Next you will be touting 350 painted keys. Jeez.

Can someone with LDP confirm that they have a button to turn all interior lights on at once?
Can someone without LDP confirm they don't have said button?

I have a button that turns them all off (where the reading lights are) but I'm not sure if the same button turns them all on. I can check at some stage, though.

There is a way to turn the footwell lights off while keeping the other LEDs on. I do this in my Cayenne all the time. While the door is opened, switch the interior lights off(in my case they're two buttons, I switch one of them off) then close the door.
Try it. This might work in the GT3 too.
